Storm Damage – Crossville Commercial Building
Storm damage resulted at this Crossville commercial building when a strong band of thunderstorms carrying high wind gusts caused a portion of the roof to be torn away. It was a heavy rainstorm, and lots of rainwater found its way to the interior of the building. Ceiling tiles and insulation became soaked with water and very heavy. Many panels fell to the floor. The building manager needed professional help fast as the storm raged on. SERVPRO of Cumberland, Morgan & White Counties prides itself on being “faster to any disaster.” We are prepared to respond quickly 24/7. In cases where part of a roof has been blown off, our first service would be to place tarps on the roof to stop further rainwater from entering the building. Roofing repairs would be arranged while we were suctioning up the water that had entered the interior of the facility. Naturally, all of the debris would be cleaned up and disposed of properly. Drying equipment would be set up and allowed to do its job before any replacement of damaged building materials took place.
